The clock starts at ten. If it clicks, the call holds up to 40. If it doesn't, you both did the thing and you go on with your evening.

Why this exists

The conversation you wanted to have but didn't.

Your partner liked the movie but is done talking about it. Your friends haven't seen it. Your kid is locked into YouTube shorts. So the conversation stays in your head and the feeling fades over a few days.

That's the gap this fills. One film a week, picked carefully. Friday at 7:30 PT, ten minutes with one other person who actually wants to dig in. Sometimes you'll click and stay forty. Sometimes you'll be off in ten. Both are fine.

Before you tap the ticket.

Do we watch on Zoom together? +

No. Watch alone, on your own time, any time before Friday. The Zoom call is for talking, not watching. It is much weirder to watch a movie with a stranger than to talk about one.

Is it a group? +

No. Two people. You and one other person, on a private Zoom link we send Thursday night.

Will my email be shared? +

Never. Your match doesn't see it. You both join the same Zoom link, then say hi. That's it.

Can't make Friday? +

One tap from your confirmation email refunds you. Money back to the same card, no questions, no flow to navigate.

Do I have to be on camera? +

No. Both of you join the same Zoom. Camera on, off, or flip it mid-call. There's no right or wrong way to do this.

What if my match no-shows? +

It happens. You get next week's pick on the house, or a refund. Your call. Reply to any of our emails and we sort it.

What if I haven't finished the movie? +

Come anyway. Tell your match where you stopped, talk about the first half. The point is the conversation, not the pop quiz.
